“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
Seeking to understand all things about the ways of the Lord is futile, and becomes an exercise of arrogance when we think we can. His plans and reasons are beyond our understanding. God’s gracious thoughts exceed all human imagination. No one can fathom the depths of His wisdom.
However, whether or not we understand the ways of the Lord, we can trust that His Word is true and will do what it says.
