“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
“The way” indicates that Christ is not merely a way, but rather the only way to God. Through His death and resurrection, Christ went to prepare a place for us in heaven, where we will dwell with God forever. The true God cannot be known apart from Jesus Christ. Because of Christ’s work, we can know the Father and enter His eternal presence.
Jesus is the way to the Father through His death and resurrection. He is also the truth and the life. As truth, He is the revelation of God. As life, He is the communication of God to us.
