“As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” Psalm 18:30
Psalm 18 is attributed to David. The text of this psalm is also found in 2 Samuel 22 with some variations. The superscription indicates that this psalm was David’s hymn of celebration to the grace of God.
The phrase “His way is perfect” indicates God’s words and actions are always vindicated. The theme of vindication appears throughout the Psalms.
In this psalm, David recounts a time when the very cords of death were dragging him down into the abyss. The deliverance God provided him reminds us of our own victory over the grave, achieved for us by the risen Lord Jesus.
God’s blessings on your day…
